Questions about the presets

What does picking a trade actually change?

The line items, their quantities and their starting rates. Pick a trade and the generator opens with the work that trade usually bills for already listed, so the first thing you do is correct a number rather than type a page.

My trade is not on the list. Can I still use it?

Yes. Start from the general business option and rename the lines, or pick the closest trade and edit it. Nothing is locked to the preset, and every line can be renamed, repriced or deleted.

Are the starting rates a recommendation?

No. They are figures to overwrite so the document is not empty. This site holds no pricing survey and does not publish market rates. What you should charge depends on your area, your overheads and the job.

Do I need an account?

No. Every generator runs in the browser with no signup, no watermark and no trial. An account adds saved clients, saved documents, sending with open tracking and an owed and overdue list.
